Raised in New Jersey and bred in Baltimore, Mike Gazzo known simply as “Gazzo” has certainly taken the EDM scene by storm. With music infused in him at an early age, this up and coming Baltimore-based artist has been electrifying dance crowds up and down the east coast. Performing alongside EDM giants like Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, Chris Lake, Cedric Gervais and many more, Gazzo has certainly found his way into the hearts and ears of listeners everywhere. His remix of Y LUV’s “Never Touch the Ground” hit #1 on the Hype Machine Popular Charts less than 24 hours after its release and stayed atop the charts for as long as the site allows. This is the same track that poured out of fans speakers on LA’s popular station 102.7 KISS FM shortly thereafter. “Never Touch the Ground” also received radio play for millions in Brazil on Dance Paradise’s “Saved by the Beat”. With only a year or so of EDM production under his belt, it’s hard to imagine what innovative and enticing sounds we’ll hear from him next. His tracks have caught the attention of major artists and producers not to mention the growing mass of loyal EDM supporters, receiving constant support and adulation from sites such as dml.fm, fistintheair.com, earmilk.com and more. The addictive blend of progressive and electro house find their home in his tracks with hints of multiple genres peppered throughout each carefully crafted track. This potent mix leaves his listeners with a heightened sense of satisfaction and thirst for more. His ingenuity and originality apply not only to his music, but to his own concept of success. “To me success isn’t making tons of money, it’s playing in front of as many people as I can and knowing that for that one moment in time those people are free of their worries at home, their troubles in school, or anything that hinders them from being happy. To have my music and performances be an escape for people is my desire in life.”
